Urbankind is proud to have led the Sunshine Coast Padel Project, a strategic initiative designed to explore the feasibility and potential investment opportunities for a new four-court padel facility in the region.
Working in collaboration with key stakeholders, this project focused on preliminary site due diligence, high-level stakeholder engagement, and strategic site analysis to assess potential locations for the development of a state-of-the-art padel facility.
Project Scope and Deliverables
Our approach was structured into two key phases:
✔ Site Analysis & Scoping – Conducting a detailed assessment of up to three potential sites, overlaying facility designs, and identifying key opportunities and constraints.
✔ Stakeholder & Landowner Engagement – Engaging with local authorities, sporting organisations, and landowners to gauge feasibility, risks, and investment potential.
✔ Emerging Trends & Market Research – Identifying growth opportunities for padel in the Sunshine Coast and aligning site selection with strategic development goals.
✔ Site Ranking & Recommendations – Delivering a comprehensive evaluation of site suitability to support informed decision-making for future investment.
